Hi everyone! My name is Pranavi Pallinti, and I am a senior that goes to both the AOS and Dominion High School. Next fall, I am looking forward to attending Johns Hopkins University to study biomedical engineering. I am so excited to be your Secretary General for this conference. I have been doing MUN since my freshman year and have loved it every minute. I absolutely love discussing scientific topics and topics that deal with human’s rights. I am also a part of different clubs in my school like Girls Learn International, Red Cross Society, and Academic Team. Hi, I'm Emily! Just a little about me, I'm a senior here at AOS and John Champe High School. I did gymnastics and played basketball for school. I like watching Netflix and adventuring/taking pictures in my free time. This year for my research project, I tried to develop a more efficient method of synthesizing fuels, as they are a critical ingredient in a proficient economy, since we are so reliant on them. However, they can be detrimental to our environment, which is why my method would address the issue of the effect of carbon emission. Through this project, I've become more interested in the effects of human waste on the environment, which is why I wanted to chair UNEP. The topic holds close to my heart, and I can't wait to discuss it with you all in conference as we tackle the issue and come to a resolution (hopefully)!

Hi, everybody! I'm Sid Pathak, and I'm really excited to be your WHO chair at SCIMUNC. I'm a senior in high school, and I'm very excited to enter my third year of model UN as well and look forward to going to college. This is my first time chairing a conference, so I am looking forward to the challenge and to be able to moderate all of your discussions. Besides being in school and attending MUN conferences and meetings, I like to participate in DECA, the Science National Honor Society, play for my school's tennis team, and play the piano in my school's jazz band. I'm really excited to see how you all are able to collaborate and discuss these momentous issues in this committee.

Hello delegates, my name is Avan Balasubramaniam, and I am eagerly looking forward to chairing the DISEC committee at this year's SCIMUNC! I'm a senior here at the Academy of Science as well Freedom High School, and this will be my 3rd year doing MUN. Apart from MUN, I play basketball and run on my schools cross country and track and field team. I'm part of National, Math and Science Honor Society, where I've enhanced my leadership skills and communication. As a first time chair, I hope to carry the skills I've developed into session, and I am excited to hear your debates on the important current world issues highlighted in this committee.

Hey Delegates, my name is Adit Singh and I’m very excited to be chairing the Crisis Committee at SCIMUNC this year. I’m a senior at Briar Woods and the AOS, and this year will be my 3rd doing MUN. As the captain of the Briar Woods High School Policy debate team, I have a background in arguing world affairs and working with teams to develop arguments. I am also very interested in world political affairs as well as world religions, and I look forward to chairing a crisis committee that incorporates some principles of both. Although this is my first time chairing, I am very excited to hear arguments as well as discussion and teamwork in your committees.
